Sprouts Update 4

I always have a hard time with peppers. I’m not sure if it’s the climate or temperature or what, but I have a hard time keeping them alive. There I said it. As I write this (several weeks post my original post) only three of the many peppers that I planted have survived and they are still so tiny I can’t believe it. As I mention in this video, I think the heat mat is key and also giving them time on the heat mat. I also liked the little seed starter domes that I had but I didn’t like the grow medium pucks. I feel like the pepper seeds need to germinate deeper into the soil which is why most of my little sprouties didn’t make it this year. Next year I will probably plant them into soil in the seed starter trays and that way they can be warm, moist, happy and with lots of nutrients! Just like we all want. But one improvement per year is fine with me!
