Zero Waste Company

We are a zero food waste company. All of the produce on set is either eaten, brought home by staff or composed in a home compost that we use for growing vegetables for use at home and on set! Proteins that cannot be composted are prioritized for take homes to ensure none spoil. Our backgrounds in professional kitchens and in network TV kitchens has shown us the magnitude of needless waste that occurs daily and we are committed to changing the resigned acceptance of waste in this industry.

Local Food Company

Local food is where it’s at. I mean come on, we’re MissProduce. The closer we can be to the actual dirt the better. When we can’t get home grown or market veggies we prioritize smaller grocery stores or places with very high quality.

Local Purveyor Company

When we can, we shop local. We are passionate about small business (we are one!) and we prioritize using hand crafted and artisan goods any chance we get!

We Hire Women (can you tell?)

At MissProduce we love women! We create a safe and joyous environment for our producers to shine. We see ourselves as a talent incubator and believe that when artists are given room to grow they shine the brightest. We’re not exclusive though, all genders and pronouns are welcome here.
